The Enable Program at our Walters Family Campus will soon move to a new location creating the first OV Neighborhood Club. The OV Neighborhood Club will be a program placed right in the middle of the community and be housed in a storefront location in a strip mall, with access to all the community amenities!
Nevada Congressman Steven Horsford recently visited constituents at Opportunity Village’s North Campus and held a one-hour round-table discussion for nearly 30 adults with disabilities. Horsford, who represents Nevada’s Fourth Congressional District and is a Las Vegas native, discussed several key topics and issues within the disability community in Southern Nevada including: housing, transportation, social security
Construction of Opportunity Village’s flagship campus is well underway and expected to be complete in early October. Opportunity Village clients that were moved to other campuses during the transition are expected to return to Oakey at the end of October. This is the first major renovation to happen at this campus in over 30 years.
