Yesterday, national health officials from the CDC released the recommendation that everyone practice social distancing and stay away from groups of 10 or more. Following this directive, Opportunity Village’s leadership, in conjunction with the State of Nevada, have decided to cease all campus-based day programs effective today, Wednesday, March 18. These programs are scheduled to resume on April 20, 2020.
Opportunity Village understands that some families still require support and we will be making accommodations to serve clients and families in-home utilizing our current Direct Care staff. Other OV staff members will be working remotely from home.
While our facilities may close, we will continue to serve our clients wherever we are needed while closely adhering to CDC guidelines.
